Which kinds of PDF forms work?
Standard interactive PDF forms (AcroForms) with text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns and list boxes are detected and filled by value. XFA-only forms — a rarer, older format — are not supported, but you can still type free text over them.
My PDF has no fillable fields. Can I still fill it?
Yes. If no form fields are found, the tool switches to free-text mode: click anywhere on a page to drop a text box or a checkmark, and reposition or remove them until it looks right.
What does “Lock fields (flatten)” do?
Flattening bakes your values into the page so the fields are no longer editable — useful when you’re sending a finished form. Leave it off to keep the PDF fillable so answers can still be changed later.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The PDF is opened, filled and saved entirely in your browser on your own device. It is never uploaded, and nothing is kept once you close the tab.
Is it really free? Are there limits?
