How to convert a PDF to JPG

What you get back

Pages are saved as page-001.jpg, page-002.jpg and so on, in the order shown in the grid, together in one file called pages.zip.

Sharp enough to read and print

Each page is rendered at up to 1750 pixels on its long edge, about 150 DPI for A4 or Letter, and saved at high JPEG quality.

Edit before you export

Reorder, rotate or delete pages first and the images follow: a page you rotated keeps its new orientation in the image.

What resolution are the JPG files?
Up to 1750 pixels on the long edge, which is about 150 DPI for an A4 or Letter page: enough to read on screen and to print at normal size. Small pages are scaled up, to at most three times their size, rather than exported at a tiny size.
Should I choose JPG or PNG?
JPG produces smaller files and suits photos and scans. PNG is lossless and keeps small text crisp, so it is the better pick for text documents and diagrams. Choose either before downloading.
Can I export only certain pages?
Yes. Select the pages you want with their checkboxes and only those are exported; with nothing selected, every page is included.
Why do I get a ZIP even for one page?
The images always arrive in one ZIP, named in page order (page-001.jpg, page-002.jpg, …), so a long document is one download instead of dozens. Every operating system opens a ZIP without extra software.
Can I turn the JPGs back into a PDF?
Yes, with JPG to PDF, which puts each image back as a page without compressing it again. The text on those pages is part of the image, though, so it cannot be selected.
